The inspiration for my current work comes from the multitude of influences in the natural world focusing on colour, repetition, patterns and movement. 

“My work, and in particular, this series is inspired by the natural world and explores the artistic principle of repetition.

Repetition is the use of two or more elements or forms within a composition. The systematic arrangement of these repeated forms create patterns.

 The movement within these patterns create RHYTHM. This visual effect and large format makes for an engaging, immersive experience for the viewer”.

I work predominately in acrylic on canvas or linen.
